Mediterranean cuisine, fresh local produce, very good food, in the historic center of Avignon.

Joris Tixador and Andréa Rammit took over the restaurant at the end of 2024. Called Le Joat, it welcomes you in a cosy decor. The menu offers lunch and dinner only. Lunch menus change weekly. There's a choice of two starters and two desserts, plus a fish or meat dish. Starters include a cauliflower and coffee tartlet, main course a monkfish with shellfish and dessert a gingerbread-roasted persimmon with lemon sorbet. Refined culinary experiences. A warm welcome. Worth discovering.

Qualitativ sehr gut, ansprechendes Ambiente und sehr guter Service mit minimalen Abstrichen, den Wein mussten wir selbst nachschenken, ist mir aber auch grundsätzlich lieber :-)

Tato restaurace nemá chybu. Vrátili jsme se sem po třech letech a kvalita jíídla a obsluhy byla opět dokonalá. Bohužel tato restaurace 26.9.2024 definitivně končí. Je to velká škoda, taková gastronomie se těžko hledá.
