Mediterranean cuisine, fresh local produce, very good food, in the historic center of Avignon.

Joris Tixador and Andréa Rammit took over the restaurant at the end of 2024. Called Le Joat, it welcomes you in a cosy decor. The menu offers lunch and dinner only. Lunch menus change weekly. There's a choice of two starters and two desserts, plus a fish or meat dish. Starters include a cauliflower and coffee tartlet, main course a monkfish with shellfish and dessert a gingerbread-roasted persimmon with lemon sorbet. Refined culinary experiences. A warm welcome. Worth discovering.

Petit Bistro très sympa et très accueillant ☺️ la cuisine est simple et on s'est régalé. Très beau service vaisselle, ça fait plaisir aussi, belle déco également. Un peu excentré du centre ville d'Avignon et ça tombe bien quand les festival bat son plein. Michelin 2017-2023-2024✨✨
