The Mont Ventoux pig is raised in semi-freedom on the Sault plateau, at an altitude of between 800 and 1,000 metres, within a radius of about 50 km. Thanks to a diet made up exclusively of cereals and legumes and a preserved and natural environment, it produces tasty meat. The climate and the know-how of the breeders have made the reputation of its charcuterie for over a century. Few producers can claim this appellation today.
