Launched in 1991, the New Cancan is the great gay club in Marseille. A few steps from the Canebière, it is a mixed clientele, mixing men and women (but mostly men) who find themselves here around thematic evenings. The atmosphere is relaxed and tolerant. Note that the manager is not a newcomer to the Marseilles nightlife, since he had already opened the city's first gay bar in 1978. The interior is spacious, bright, everything we expect from a club where to spend a good time. The musical selection is common or house.
