Welcome to Black Bird Coffee, one of the city's best coffee shops (our favorite). The decor is cosy and modern, with big leather armchairs, shelves of books and pretty hanging plants. Eugénie takes care of the cooking: carrot cakes, homemade fondant cookies, banana bread... On weekends, you'll flock here for a delicious brunch featuring a savoury platter and an all-you-can-eat sweet buffet (remember to make reservations). The best in town, in our opinion. At lunchtime, there's a slate of suggestions. Lovely welcome.

The Cup of Tea is a bookshop-tea room with a lovely terrace and a selection of independent booksellers. Ideal for a cup of tea with a good read. In the charming store, with its wood panelling and subdued lighting, you'll find books and bistro tables, and a staircase leading to a cosy, intimate mezzanine - a well-kept secret! The walls are decorated with monthly changing exhibitions. The tea menu features some forty flavors, many of them oriental and exotic from Lapsang Souchong, India, Kenya and Japan, as well as a variety of aromatic blends of green, jasmine and Hanoi monsoon teas, all served in good-sized teapots. You can accompany it with a few good cakes (tarts, cookies, muffins...). Service is warm and friendly.

The tea lovers meeting on Longchamp Boulevard. Teavora, in addition to offering a wide selection of teas from the 4 corners of the world, offers an exotic and relaxing atmosphere. As soon as we get there, we're invited to take off his shoes and move on the sand. Then choose three different atmospheres, including the Berber tent, but also a décor of the islands or an appointment in India in a tastefully decorated room. Almost 80 teas to taste, infusions, tisanes, but it's not just hot… fresh fruit juice and smoothies too. Home pastries will accompany this moment of softness. For lunch, we'll opt for salads or salads. You can enjoy a trip to the city center.

Gone are the days when you would wander around looking for a real good coffee after a dip in Malmousque or Maldormé. With Boujou, everything is now at your fingertips, with a postcard decor in the background. Trendy coffee shop in the Opera district. A café that has become one of the most fashionable in the city. A neat decoration and in the air of time, plunging plants, light wood, space and a cosy feeling which already conquered more than one curious. Deïa's program includes coffee specialties, lattes (including amazing beet and charcoal colored ones), food from breakfast to lunch and the possibility of brunches all day long. Bowls, salads, healthy sandwiches, it's well done and totally in tune with the times. An address to discover and to adopt without delay. The only regret is that the atmosphere is a bit too "influencer" of the clientele, more busy taking pictures than having a good time.

At the bottom of the Cours Franklin-Roosevelt, a discreet address that deserves to be known, a few steps from the Réformés. Behind an attractive frontage, we enter a rather surprising café, with its counter and the smiling welcome of the owner, then a room in enfilade where you can enjoy your coffee, tea or pastry on a sofa or on cushions. A Zen place, which offers teas and herbal teas, ayurvedic infusions and homemade blends, some with CBD. On the pastry side, gluten-free, vegan, classic, all homemade by the chef, just like the quiches and cakes served for lunch. We like to spend a relaxing and greedy moment there.

Created by the Standing Family in 1932, the Standing Café is now one of the last rotations of the Phocéean city. The grain bags and the time mills are there to testify. Emki Pop is first and foremost a name that will remind you of delicious popsicle sticks. A local brand born in 2016 and delicious sorbet sticks that can now be found in many outlets in the city. But since 2017, Emki Pop also rhymes with a cafe, the first sedentary address after months of work in a scooter. A nice little café in the Vauban district, where you can taste the house specialties, the latest ice cream novelties, but also a wide choice of gourmet hot drinks and some very fun. Some small tables on a raised terrace in front of the store. A real charming little address.

The Longchamp district is rich in good addresses, but it was lacking a coffee-shop worthy of the name where you could enjoy good specialty coffees at any hour, complemented by a pastry or lunch on the go. That's exactly what the young couple behind Pollux thought. Two conversions later, we find ourselves in a café with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. It's like being in northern Europe or the United States, but with the conviviality that makes our city so charming. Local coffees from Brûlerie Moka in particular.

A cozy new café opened in February 2022 just off Chave Boulevard. A judicious location between several schools, nurseries and playgrounds. The café, run by a young woman and her sidekick, aims to be a friendly place to take a quality break. A cocoon where you can enjoy high quality coffees, great vintages, in espresso or in a more sophisticated way. A large choice of hot drinks, juices and some sweets for a nice snack during the week. On weekends, it's brunch with coffee, pastries, pancakes, bread, fruit salad, cold cuts and cheeses as well as home-made jams. Make a reservation, places are expensive.

At the Café des Thés, you can relax, read or work, over a coffee, tea or homemade hot chocolate, accompanied by a delicious sweet. In the summer, meet up with friends for an ice cream, a smoothie or a vanilla frappuccino. And at lunchtime, order salads or bagels. If you like tea and coffee, you can buy them by weight, but also teapots and other accessories. A very nice address, to be discovered urgently for the lovers of snacks!

Classifying this place was very difficult because as its name indicates, it is a place that can be described as eclectic! Halfway between a coffee-shop and a beer cellar, you can come here to have a coffee or share an aperitif with friends. It's a café that we like to visit at any time of the day. At lunchtime, you can eat a dish of the day. For the snack, pastries, cookies very tasty. Finally a selection of craft beers will delight you. Young and family clientele at the same time. We love the colourful and quiet terrace.

Located on Rue Herriot, just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the Prado traffic circle, this little café was opened in January 2023 by Sarah and Justina. A lovely cocoon where you can enjoy a gourmet breakfast of freshly squeezed juice, a hot drink, pastries and jam toast, for example, first thing in the morning. At lunchtime, you can choose from a slate of salads, tartines and a daily special. We love the cosy interior, decorated in a modern, uncluttered style, which makes you want to settle in and stay a while. All day long, the café serves as a tea room, and we'll be delighted to welcome you for a well-deserved break.
