We're here in the Fagoaga family's superb, private home. In this magnificent manor house, with its superb terrace overlooking the park, you'll find exceptional decor, with splendid Basque furniture, unique collections and valuable objects... And the bedrooms are in the same spirit, with their antique furniture. And for several years now, the sons have been occupying the first floor, offering a quality restaurant in an idyllic setting.

Olhabidea est un incontournable du Pays Basque. C'est intime et élégant tout en étant subtil et sans prétention. Tous les ingrédients sont frais et les portions parfaites, tout comme l'ambiance et le service.

C'est une expérience à ne pas manquer !

Endroit incroyable, à voir absolument, nourriture de première classe, personnel très sympathique et serviable. Belle terrasse quand il fait beau. Recommande fortement.

1er fois que nous y allons, cadre effectivement authentique, environnement calme et paisible, ancien corps de ferme rénové dans le style du bâti ancien, cependant je pense que l'intérieur pourrait être modernisé (et WC à rénover). Les plats sont bon et raffinés, cependant je ne pense pas que les prix élevés soient justifiés (25€ le plat par exemple). Et service assez long, arrivé à 12h45, café terminé à 15h30. Note positive globale mais personnellement trop chère par rapport aux plats et à la quantité servie. Et si je reprends la phrase notifiée sur la page d'accueil du site internet "Lorsque vous arrivez au restaurant Olhabidea à Sare, vous entrez dans un univers. C’est une expérience hors du commun". Il ne faut pas exagérer.
