Establishment with terrace presenting a typical menu with local products of the Basque gastronomy.

Patrick and Luc have breathed new life into this establishment, well known to the people of Sare and the surrounding area. At the entrance to the village, at the foot of the Rhune with its terrace, come before or after a session of pala in the trinquet, for lunch or dinner with our chefs, who work with and source most of their produce from local producers. And what's on your plate? Generous, local and seasonal, with the chef's special touch: chipirons, ink risotto, gambas a la plancha...

In season, open every day (lunch and dinner), except Sunday evenings and Wednesdays. In winter, restaurant open for lunch on weekdays (with Menu du Jour) and for dinner on weekends. Lunch menu: €18. Menus: €26 and €32 + à la carte. Groups welcome. Covered terrace and veranda. Trinquet: Pelota court rental: €5/1h/person + equipment loan. Also gîtes for rent: 2 T2 4 pers. fully equipped: €70/night in high season.

Accueil chaleureux, serveur de très bon conseil et souriant. Nous avons pris un hamburger maison, très bon et copieux et raisonnable en tarif. Nous recommandons sous souci.

Très bon restaurant ! Personne au service très agréable et serviable. On a pu voir quelques minutes l'entraînement dans la salle du trinquet à la pelote Basque à main nue, menu du moment au choix: 3 entrées , 3 plats, 3 desserts garantissent la fraîcheur des produits et le fait maison. On nous a suggéré du vin au verre Espagnol qui étaient très bien choisis. Nous avons pris un supplément de frittes "non facturé" (il faut le dire car c'est rarement le cas !). Le tout pour une addition très raisonnable (seulement 3€ le verre de vin). Franchement, très bonne découverte et nous le recommandons sans hésiter !
