Refuge in the heart of the old town in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port offering places in rooms.
Run by a former pilgrim, this refuge is ideally located in a mansion dating back to 1580, in the heart of the old town. It offers 44 places in rooms for 4 to 12 people, for stays of 1 to 3 days. Surrounded by a garden, this establishment also offers dinners for pilgrims, as well as cooking facilities. Pillowcase, fitted sheet and blanket provided. Washing machine available or sink in barn. Suitable for disabled guests.

1층과3층에 욕실과화장실있어요. 3층욕실은 온수가 잘 안나온다고 적혀있어요.우리는 샤워를 한번도 안함.
나무계단이라 엄청삐걱거립니다.자다가 화장실 갈려면 2층에서 3층까지 가야합니다. 소란스럽다. 주인은 밤12시에도 손님을 받아서, 시끄러워 잠을 잘수가 없다. 침대가 계속 삐걱거린다. 단체손님을 많이 받아서 아주 시끄럽다. 최악의숙소.

Excellent reception. After some major glitches getting to St Jean Pied du Port, it was nice to arrive in a place where the stress melted away. Very helpful folks and perfectly located. Eric (who seems to be a linguistic wizard), offered welcome words of encouragement and useful advice. A great spot to start the Camino!

Cons: The bed was so uncomfortable, the stairs dangerous, just two bathrooms for who knows how many rooms... The AC unit in the room would go off so often at night and it was so noisy.
