A native of the region, Michel Ibargaray returned to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port after a career in some of the world's top restaurants. Here, you'll find a friendly atmosphere, just like the chef. Coffee, breakfast, an aperitif at the bar... At the table and on the plate, simple, tasty cuisine: crispy pig's trotters, grilled local suckling lamb, chipiron salad, "homemade" double fat spiced up with Moscatel, duck breast or "homemade" confit sausages. Finally, if there's room, opt for rice pudding with milk jam.
