Chez Kako: a stopover at the superb, lively pewter bar. A must at aperitif time, with regulars who know how to appreciate, over a glass, rations that are well worth the detour. In a setting of rare beauty - a string of exceptional paintings, a reflection of the Basque country, a few posters on the region's king sport, pelota. An atmosphere, a setting, a typical local cuisine. Gambas in yellow curry sauce, snacked calf's head, homemade crème brûlée with orange and Grand Marnier.
