OSTAU BEARNÉS
For more than thirty years, Ostau bearnés has been working to support and promote the Occitan language and culture in their Béarnaise expression. This House of Béarnaise culture is a meeting place open to all, where everyone can get informed, learn, get to know better and get involved in Béarnaise's culture and language. Here you will find a cultural agenda, documentary resources, translation aids, an overview of partner associations, a shop offering t-shirts, flags, flags, flags, flags, books, CDs, DVDs... Ostau bearnés organises many events throughout the year, on its premises or in other places: cantèras (grouping of singers around songs of the country), Hestiv'oc (the great festival of Occitania), conferences, exhibitions, shows... and many other activities in a spirit of tradition and promotion of the Béarnais.
