Part brewery, part bar, part boutique, Brasserie Béarnaise is a must-visit address in Pau. On the menu are six beers all year round, including 2 IPAs and four that follow the seasons. The house creation? Shuc (Béarnais for "taste", "juice" and "flavour"), with variations we love: a refreshing classic blonde, Shuc-Hulante, a spicy amber Mousse ta Shuc, a dancing white Shuc and the characterful brown Sparta Shuc. In the same spirit, seasonal beers like the gingerbread-flavored Hiberna-Shuc for winter... There are a lot of good ideas and inventions behind this shop, now a must in the city of Pau.
