Hotel Roncesvalles is ideally located in the heart of Pau. The building, a former Capuchin convent, dates from the 17th century. Its organization with amazing rooms makes it a real charming accommodation. First of all, we appreciate the different decoration in each of the rooms. Coloured curtains, pearl white sheets, wooden headboards, furniture matching the main colour.... Modern rooms retain small touches of the old, such as parquet flooring or fireplaces: the character is undeniable. The bathrooms are functional, some with large showers or baths for the "Superior" and "Luxury" rooms, the offer being composed of 4 categories which include "Comfort" and "Quality". On the ground floor, the breakfast room is bright. Close to the historic centre, Place Clemenceau and the station, the hotel is perfect for visiting Pau on foot because you can easily park your car in the hotel's car park... which is rare!
