Chez Laurette is a family story. Created in 1994 by Laurette, the mother, it is today the son Cédric who is at the head of this iconic establishment in Pau. Here, it is traditional to cook the Poule au Pot, which the family has become a specialist in! The cuisine is homemade and authentic and the restaurant is frequented by a clientele of faithful regulars. The chicken in the pot is served on Tuesdays at noon and is available on order the other days of the week. It is served with vegetables (carrots and zucchini that cook with the chicken and cabbage) and rice cooked in the chicken's broth. Very friendly, intergenerational and popular atmosphere.
