The Crécy observation tower is a great place to see what the battle was like.
Don't leave Crécy without passing by the observation tower on the site of the mill where Edward III watched his troops defeat the French armies on August 26, 1346. A nearby map shows the position of the various belligerents and how the battle unfolded. However, you'll have to use your imagination to try and visualize what the battle might have been like here, in a time long past!
