Things to see and do Crécy-En-Ponthieu

Opinions also differ as to the fact that this cross would have been erected in honour of Eleonore d'Aquitaine (1122-1204). Indeed, Lucien Vasseur, an archaeologist, claims that this monument was commanded by Edouard I of England in posthumous tribute to his wife Eleonore de Castille (1244-1290).
