This festival is one of the little nuggets we're happy to find. Astonishing in its quality, exceptional in its intelligent programming and accessible to all at affordable rates, it has everything for us and will seduce you! It's been doing it for 17 years now, and the public, which is growing in number, hasn't been mistaken. Through a dozen shows, it is a contemporary theatre that is put in the spotlight, based on meaning, emotions and beautiful texts. The aim is first of all to discover them, but also to offer a reflection on the world and then to discuss it. The MJC's performance hall serves as the main setting for the event, but it also invites itself into the surrounding villages, particularly in the cafés, for free performances. For the 2020 edition, the Festival des Théâtrales will continue to offer great initiatives, shows that are always in tune with the times and are undoubtedly appreciated by festival-goers.
