What an amazing place, feel very privileged to visit such a place that means so much in history! Time did not matter when you was walking around taking in all the history and memories! Knowing that this was the place that changed many things in history was so special

Très bon accueil. Par contre j'ai trouvé la partie exposition assez limitée.

Great museum and memorial.
I could have spent far more time here than the two hours I had available. It is well laid out and successfully explains the complex reasons and events that led to the horrific time in history which was the First World War.
All of the interpretation boards are in a time line and give the visitor an easily understandable view of events.
If I get the chance to visit again I will do so.
Places like this are not only important to educate future generations of the sacrifices of our ancestors gave but also to show the futility of war.

Es ist schade, dass dieser historisch so wichtige Ort für die Geschichte von frankreich und Deutschland scheinbar so wenig Unterstützung erhält.
Die geschichtlichen Ereignisse, die hier behandelt werden sind wichtig und auch zu sehr großen Teilen gut und richtig aufbereitet. Bei der Übersetung der deutschen Texttafeln hat man leider scheinbar gespart.
Aber alles in Allem ist dies ein Ort, der seiner historischen Bedeutung gerecht wird und ein Besuch und kann dem Verständnis für die Geschehnisse der Jahre 1914 - 1945 nur dienen.

Lieu de mémoire très très très bien entretenu extérieurement comme a l'intérieur, par des bénévoles chaleureux et passionnés !!heureusement qu'ils et elles sont là !! En plus de cela la dame a l'accueil est très aimable et souriante !ce lieu mériterait comme les bénévoles plus de reconnaissance de la part de l'état !! Pour ma part si je le pouvais financièrement je le ferais. Je recommande ce lieu pleins d'histoire .

Une clairière paisible chargée d'histoire et un musée bien fait permettant de mieux se rendre compte et appréhender de l'horreur et de la dureté de la guerre.

I was surprised. I had organized an event for November 11 in 2011 for the American Club of Paris. This time there was even more to discover. I spent 2 hours in the museum.. fascinating.

Brilliant museum marking the signing of armistice agreement in 1918. There was lots of information about the use of the train carriage and the conflicts within France. Really worth a visit if you like military history, happen to be in the area or just want to see a small museum and kill a bit of time. Grounds are very peaceful too and a reminder of the sacrifices made during the great war

À faire une fois pour comprendre l'importance de la Grande Guerre et son influence sur la Seconde Guerre. Les explications sont riches et très intéressantes.
