In a traditional building in the heart of the village, the Art'Zain restaurant offers an exceptional setting for your meal. Chef Henri Amestoy offers creative, local cuisine that respects the seasons. The menu features typical Basque dishes, using local producers. Enjoy creamy ewe's cheese, eggplant, hake and grilled black pudding, cooked veal quasi rosé, crispy pork and, to finish on a high note, the chocolate moelleux coulant. The restaurant has been awarded a Michelin green star for its sustainable gastronomy.

Passage obligé à Irissary ! Quelle table ! Mon velouté de courges avec ses minis croques au fromage ... un délice, mon suprême de volaille sur son écrasé de pomme de terre ... un régal, quant au moelleux au chocolat... je reste sans voix ! La déco, aucune fausse note, tout est élégant et en parfaite harmonie. Cerise sur le gateau ....le remarquable mobilier "Alki", savamment mis en valeur dans cette magnifique batisse !

We drove up for lunch from San Sebastián and it was worth the drive. We really enjoyed the tomato ice cream with tomatoes and tomato soup.
