AU CREUX DES CIMES

Already 10 years old, the Au Creux des Cimes accrobranche is located in the heart of the trees near the Cénitz beach in Guéthary. Attendance continues to grow, with an average of 400 children per season. the site features 16 workshops and 5 zip lines. Marc, the manager, directs and supervises young and old alike, equipping them with harnesses, karabiners and other age-appropriate equipment. Each child is given an introduction to the activity so that he or she can learn the instructions. This activity, which calls on agility and motor skills, will delight the whole family!

BASQUE PELOTA

Basque pelota is a universally played game, combining several ball games derived from the Jeu de Paume. The superb fronton in the heart of the village is still alive and well in Guéthary. One of the Federation's oldest clubs was founded here, nicknamed La Mecque du grand chistera. Olharroa has seen many great champions, the most prestigious of whom was Albert Harispe. Today, the club also plays cesta punta and paleta pelote gomme, and every year hosts numerous events, demonstrations and pelota festivals, with ever-growing numbers of players.

BALADES

Hiking

Between the sky, the mountains and the sea, everything here invites you to take a stroll along the paths laid out for this purpose, such as the El Cano fishermen's path, also close to the shore, where you can cycle or walk. If you're a jogger, don't hesitate to take this path... There are two ways to explore the village on foot. You'll find explanatory signs on some of the paths. These walks take less than two hours to complete, and allow you to discover part of the Basque heritage and the village of Guéthary.
