The work is done in stages: engraving, polishing, sanding the plate, familiarizing yourself with the tools and the material, setting the paper, and finally the press that works its magic. One of the Federation's oldest clubs was founded here, nicknamed La Mecque du grand chistera. Olharroa has seen many great champions, the most prestigious of whom was Albert Harispe. Today, the club also plays cesta punta and paleta pelote gomme, and every year hosts numerous events, demonstrations and pelota festivals, with ever-growing numbers of players.

Between the sky, the mountains and the sea, everything here invites you to take a stroll along the paths laid out for this purpose, such as the El Cano fishermen's path, also close to the shore, where you can cycle or walk. If you're a jogger, don't hesitate to take this path... There are two ways to explore the village on foot. You'll find explanatory signs on some of the paths. These walks take less than two hours to complete, and allow you to discover part of the Basque heritage and the village of Guéthary.

This surfing institution offers a wide range of family-friendly activities in the form of Surf Camp Family, with accommodation. The program includes Surf Camp Kids and Teens for ages 9 to 14, and Surf and Golf for adults. From simple private lessons to seminar organization, on the 4 sites of the Basque Country, in Guéthary and Bidart with former French champion Christophe Reinhardt, but also in Biarritz and Hendaye. Equipment (wetsuits and surfboards) is available.
