The great wines of tradition such as the wines of Jurancon are framed in their production by this cooperative. Created in 1949, the cellar was able to adapt to the changes of the 2000 s, in particular by obtaining triple quality certification linked to service, environment and food safety, but it is his certificate of kindness that we like most and we are not the only ones: with 270 000 visitors per year, it is the most popular 6 th company in France! In front of the cellar, an impressive wooden and glass building consists of the storage unit of one and a half million bottles, a bottling chain and a space for shipping. The history of this cellar can be summarized in a few key figures: 750 ha of vineyards on the name Jurancon dry, sweet and late harvest, on the appellation AOC Béarn red and rosé, 150 hectares on the site of Bellocq, 270 wine-growers… A wide choice and quality at the meeting with each year of the award winning vintages. During the visit of the beautiful semi-buried cellar, you can admire the th century Gallo-Roman mosaics and amphitheatre fields. A wonderful place for all senses!
