Establishment facing the Socoa fort serving fresh fish grilled a la plancha or Spanish style, also meat.
Facing the Socoa fort, inside and out, a warm welcome, conviviality and quality are the hallmarks of Arraina (Basque for "fish"), the marine restaurant. Here, it's mainly fish that's served, with the port nearby. Seafood platters, chipirons, crab salad, monkfish, swordfish, barracuda, whole lobster..., simply grilled a la plancha or Spanish-style, are the star products, along with fish soup, and for meat, regional veal axoa, rib of beef and, for sweetness, baba au rhum.
