The Iparla ridge hike, grandiose panoramas, wildlife and a medium challenge.

The Crêtes d'Iparla hike (departure from the village of Bidarray) takes you up to the Pic d'Iparla, along the GR 10, which rises to 1,044 m and offers grandiose panoramic views of the ocean and the Basque and Landes coasts. You'll spot pottoks and numerous bird species (vultures, kites...), as the site is a Natura 2000 zone. Hiking time: approx. 4 hrs 30 mins over 11 km, with an ascent of 930 m and a medium level of difficulty. A word of advice: bring good walking shoes and plenty of food!
