A real meeting place for Biarrots, this 5-hectare lake 2 km from the ocean is the city's second most popular walking area after the seafront, and welcomes many nature lovers. More than 250 species of plants, aquatic flora and a great diversity of forests with 36 varieties of trees can be found on its shores. If you'd like to walk around the lake, you'll need between 10 and 20 minutes to cover the 1.2 km of the 20-hectare park. A lovely route for joggers, with some gentle slopes.
