Prestigious hotel, bar-restaurant and SPA at the gateway to the famous seaside capital of Biarritz, with panoramic ocean views.

It's hard to resist this Art Deco hotel, located at the gateway to the famous seaside capital, with its panoramic view over the ocean, between the lighthouse and the golf course. You're in a timeless setting ablaze with elegance. As you enter the Régina, you'll admire the architecture of the patio, its immense glass roof and its galleries of hushed spaces. The inner courtyard is home to a café-lounge bar, the "Frenchie Biarritz" restaurant and a SPA area... With prestige amenities.

We recently spent three nights at the Regina, and were delighted with our stay.
- Great location (we thought). A 5 minutes walk from the lighthouse. Far enough away from the city centre to be peaceful, but close enough to be convenient (i.e. 25-30 minutes walk to the Vieux Port).
- Lovely building, excellent decor.
- Very comfortable and spacious (Superior) bedroom with sea view. Twin sets of double glazed doors leading onto a small patio area meant it was extremely (and surprisingly) quiet.
- Nice pool area.
- Excellent food. The breakfast selection was very good, and the evening meals we had were outstanding (especially the taster menu).
- Last but by no means least...amazing staff. Literally everyone we interacted with was brilliant - friendly, engaged, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable. Very rare to find such consistent service.
Would definitely recommend, and will definitely return!

We considered staying here as part of summer vacation for 7 days but ended up going back to Hotel Palais where we had stayed for 4 days prior after 1 night.

Nice, modern, new hotel. Very nice room (although curtains not at all blocking light…). Cool interior.
Reasons for low review: Location is good but a bit removed e.g. from the beach and city center and the public spaces are not sufficiently nice from our pov to justify staying at the hotel for a full day (which we were after); the pool area has a bit of a «backyard feeling» with no views and crammed into quite small space and the outdoor eating area is not that cosy, limited views and close to the road.

We had requested no ground floor given baby and had to pay big price delta in the end at check in to get to a higher floor.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay as a family with a 1.5 year old toddler.
The hotel is in a great location - a bit further from the hustle of Biarritz but close enough to everything.
The hotel itself is very stylish, the common area is very attractive.
The room once again is both very attractive in terms of design but also very comfortable.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the hotel, special shout out to concierge Thomas.
The bistro is open throughout the day and cooked some amazing food which our little one enjoyed very much (she is usually a fussy eater in holidays).
The only small criticism I would have is that the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied at this price tag but was good enough to enjoy.
Look forward to coming back.
