Thanks to its famous legend and the new fashion for sea bathing that arrived around 1828, the Chambre d'Amour and the adjacent Petite Chambre d'Amour have twice undergone a major facelift, showcasing their major assets: the ocean, the beach, the promenade, and numerous restaurants and bars. The innovation is undoubtedly the creation of this exceptional pedestrian area in front of the plethora of restaurants in Les Sables d'Or. At night, the site is enhanced by lighting effects from the ground and spotlights directed towards the ocean.

Ne manquez pas la balade
Un très bel endroit pour se balader en toute saison. Notez qu'à la fin de la saison estivale, il y a la Nuit de la chambre d'amour, avec des concerts organisés sous les kiosques et un feu d'artifice. Ne pas manquez l'exposition "La route des Géantes" de Belharra à Nazaré jusqu'au 30 septembre 2019

Anfractuosité dans la roche en retrait de la mer où deux amoureux qui s'y étaient réfugiés , auraient trouvé la mort par noyade selon la légende. Endroit clôturé mais très peu parlant hormis la place relatant la légende avec les noms des deux amants présumés .

Le lieu est très beau et a été aménagé pour accueillir les piétons en balade. La plage est très sympa. Attention, il peut y avoir beaucoup de monde certains week-ends !
