LE STADE DE L'ÉPOPÉE

With 12,500 seats, the Epopée stadium is the largest on the Opal Coast. It was inaugurated in September 2008 and its name pays tribute to the heroic journey of the Calaisian team, CRUFC, which, from amateur division, get to the final of the cup of France in the year 2000. The grandstand is named after the manager at the time: Claude Thiriot and the stadium host local matches a Saturday on two. The Calais 2000 association which brings together the former finalist players plays gala matches.
