The Villa Malbec is the official showcase for Cahors AOC wines, and is the official tasting space for Cahors Malbec wines in its refined and lounge-like decor. The establishment, which is part of the Union Interprofessionnels des Vins de Cahors, does not sell bottles but rather presents quality products. 86 winegrowers are represented there. Villa Malbec regularly organises after-work evenings open to both novices and amateurs. You will not fail to find a quality service. A must in Lot oenology.

Bertrand Gabriel Vigouroux is a winegrower and offers in his cellars of the Atrium the wines of his production where his 2 Châteaux of the Cahors appellation are honoured: the Château de Haute-Serre and the Château de Mercuès. You will find in its cellars more than a hundred references, a wide selection of wines and spirits, aperitifs and regional products, a tasting area and, above all, professional advice. The Atrium is the ambassador of the wines of the Maison Georges Vigouroux. A superb cellar, whether you are a connoisseur or a neophyte.

Founded in 1887, this grocery store quickly became a great success. In the 60s, after 3 generations, the company turned to the production of preserves. In the 1980s, the company continued to specialize in fine Southwestern gastronomy. Today, a dining cellar/wine bar adjoins the store, where you can enjoy truffled sausage, cassoulet and sharing platters on the spot for lunch and dinner... In summer, concerts are sometimes organized. It's a convivial place. Silver and gold medals 2024 at the Concours Général Agricole for their foie gras.

Just next to the majestic Valentré Bridge, you can't miss the shop of the famous Château Lagrezette, whose first harvest took place in 1503. It was organized by Marguerite de Massaut, the first woman owner of the estate. You will find in this shop all the grands crus of a domain renowned for its exceptional terroir. Vins sur 20 is a little gem for lovers of wine and good things, close to the emblematic Valentré bridge. With a listing of 800 wines classified by region, the choice is vast. Silvère and Laurent, two wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs, share tips and tricks to help us in our purchases. The delicatessen section continues to seduce us with its regional preserves, sweet dishes and organic tea. Also note the presence of aperitifs and liqueurs. A beautiful address where each visit is pleasantly welcomed and guided.

221st V and B of France and one of the few located in the city centre. Alexandre runs a shop in front of the city's cinema. The V and B concept is a bar area for tasting next to a cellar - or a cellar extended by a bar! You will find there beautiful references of wines, beers but also spirits. The bar area allows you to organise regular theme evenings, tastings, sports broadcasts... that's the DNA of the place. The winegrowers of Cahors are men and women who carry high the values of the South-West and work on 21,700 hectares of limestone spread over 45 communes in the Lot, between the Causses and the Lot valley. The AOC Cahors was created in 1971 and is reserved exclusively for red wines made from 70% Malbec, although two other grape varieties, Tannat and Merlot, are authorized. With 8.5 ha of vines, including 7 ha planted with Malbec, the historic grape variety of AOC Cahors, this is one of the only vineyards in the appellation to be located in the Cadurci commune! On the heights above the town, it's scattered around a typical Quercy farm. Laurent has been working this small family estate for 20 years. He produces 3 red wines, 1 rosé IGP Côte du Lot and 1 ratafia, the region's traditional aperitif. Discreet and humble, Laurent loves to share his passion for wine with visitors. He has just been awarded the AB label, a guarantee of quality in organic farming.
