The media library is considered a multi-modal platform for the service of crop vectors. Created in the autumn of 1987 by Guy Pautis, one of the pioneers of the regional magazine press, Dire Lot is a bimonthly now run by Vincent Besserve, who took over the magazine in 2011. A magazine that promotes the heritage of the Lot. The subjects are varied and always treated with a singular eye. Economic, political, cultural, heritage, gastronomic or environmental life, Dire Lot aims to approach the Lot in all its diversity. Dire Lot publishes several special editions per year. An internet version is now online.

The Centre Hospitalier de Cahors is one of the city's and the département's major establishments, employing almost 1,000 permanent staff. The hospital's teams are made up of medical and non-medical staff, covering a wide range of professions such as doctors, nurses, technicians, cooks, medical secretaries, etc. The hospital recruits civil servants, hospital practitioners, employees on fixed-term or open-ended contracts, as well as future employment contracts or employment support contracts. Applications, whether unsolicited or in response to a job offer, should be sent to the Human Resources Department. The hospital undertakes to reply to all letters of application.

Le Lot is a department rich in cliffs and natural environments, which is the joy of climbers grouped in four clubs (Cahors, Gourdon, Puy-la'Bishop and Gramat) which are found within the departmental committee chaired by Laurent Peyral. The committee took the initiative to publish a guide listing 600 tracks on a dozen cliffs (Autoire, Montcabrier, Milhac, Saint-Géry, Worms, Cele Valley, Arcambal and Lot Valley) for sale in the tourist offices.

Cahors is a town in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France. The association's volunteers are available to accompany you and help you discover the riches of the city and the region. La Vie Quercynoise is the oldest and first weekly local news magazine in the Lot, whose raison d'être could be summed up in these terms: "to create links and cultivate the identity of a country". Created in the aftermath of the Second World War, it has established itself over the years as a media of reference. It still places the emphasis on social and local subjects. Today it is also an online newspaper called Actu Lot. This quality newspaper combines the reactivity and journalistic hindsight that one expects.
