The Couture family opens its doors to wine tourism with several possible visits and tastings of great Cahors wines, its range of IGP Côtes du Lot, its traditional ratafia, as well as its grape juice. The history of their passion for vines goes back to 1470, with a winegrower ancestor in the service of the Lord of Albas. The Eugénie estate is a family legacy of exceptional know-how and a deep love for this garnet-red wine. Winner of the Septuor des Entreprises 2022 in the "International" category. Open Monday to Saturday + public holidays, 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 7pm + Sundays from mid-July to end of August. Closed Christmas and January 1st, Easter and May 1st. Cahors AOP and Côtes-du-Lot IGP red, white and rosé. Certified High Environmental Value. Vintage tastings.

The history of the Couture Family begins in 1470, where we find the trace of an ancestor cultivating the Malbec vine for the Lord of Albas.
Since then, we have been perpetuating the family tradition thanks to the know-how acquired from father to son, combined with modern winemaking techniques.We produce wines that reflect the purest expression of our grape varieties, according to their different terroirs and the very specific weather conditions of each vintage.
You can thus be sure to taste quality wines, reflecting the great typicity of our vineyard.Independent winegrower with the H.V.E (High Environmental Value) label, the Couture Family welcomes you to the estate and will make you taste its entire range of Cahors A.O.P, Côtes du Lot I.G.P, Apéritif Ratafia and its 100% pure grape juice for young and old.
Thewines of Château Eugénie are awarded medals each year at the most prestigious wine competitions, and are regularly cited by the most important guides and the specialist press (Guide Hachette, Wine Enthusiast, Gilbert and Gaillard ...).
Possibility of various group visits by estimate and by appointment (tasting of old vintages, walks in the vineyards, food and wine pairings).

Nous avons pris plusieurs 6 bouteilles de Tradition et 6 bouteille de Tsar Pierre le grand que nous avons pu déguster avant achat, un vrai délice même si le vin mérite de vieillir encore un peu plus.
