Theaters Nancy

Opened in 2003, the Théâtre de Mon Désert, like the street where it is located, is managed by the City of Nancy. It's a question of being on the lookout for varied programming throughout the year, which allows to support creation and to diffuse local companies. The layout of the room, where the audience can interact with the stage, encourages exchanges with the actors. A restaurant area allows for more informal meetings and exchanges, and the theater is sometimes booked by performing arts companies (professional, semi-professional and amateur).

The L.E.M., acronym for Lieu d'Expérimentation Marionnette, is Le Petit Théâtre dans la ville, taken over since the end of 2014 by the company En Verre et contre Tout. This puppet place with multidisciplinary tendencies is a real space of life, exchange, experimentation, as evidenced by a bar-library, an interior courtyard, a performance hall with 45 seats and a rehearsal room, where artists in residence, performances and training courses meet. Here we give ourselves time, time to work together, in a building classified as a historical monument.

A small theater company born in the early 2000s, the fruit of the meeting between Coco Bernardis and Benoît Fourchard. As the company grew, so did the number of artists who joined it. The company sees itself as "a peregrination, a crossing, with stopovers and passengers getting on and off, an exploration through encounters and universes". A journey between contemporary texts, images and sounds. In short, a group full of dynamism, ideas and openness, in perpetual renewal!
