Le Bistrot des Quais (formerly known as Guinguette) is a restaurant that attracts for its setting: large bay windows and a terrace overlooking the banks of the Vienne. A popular place for its dancing evenings and concerts (parquet floor for evening dancing). The cuisine is traditional, the lunch formula changes every week. On a menu renewed every two months or so, three starters, main courses and desserts: toast of pig's foot gratin, gizzard salad, duck confit, soft biscuit with hazelnuts, flognarde... In summer, the bistro offers you sausages with truffles. The weekly menu offers a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses (including a fish) and 3 desserts, including candied pineapple and candied fruits with rum.

Grosse déception à tous les niveaux
La terrasse ai le seul intérêt de cette établissement service beaucoup trop long plat médiocre sans saveurs .nous sommes partis au bout de 2h20 pour mettre fin à cette mascarade il nous restaient encore le dessert à choisir mais nous n'avions plus la patience d'attendre comme la table la plus proche de nous d'ailleurs ils sont partis après l'entrée. Établissements à éviter.

A éviter! Le service n'est pas toujours agréable, les plats pas recherchés... J'ai réussi à avoir un burger avec un goût de vinaigre....
Seul avantage, la terrasse l'été et la possibilité d'accueillir des groupes.

A restaurant that really gives in the originality of the dishes, a real pleasure for the tastebuds, congratulation with the chef. The waiters are very friendly and good advice, I really recommend this hotel if you want to décrouvrir original cuisine.
The sacred entire a good atmosphere during the dancing.

The decor of a canteen, a kitchen wanting to appear " recherchée" while all is cold, a poor wine, dancing or there is no loudspeakers well as a spluttering... At the cost of the service (group there is no choice for menus and everyone must eat the same thing), I sincerely advise you to go elsewhere in order to eat real cuisine. Unfortunately this type of restaurant gives the impression to want to put it full the view in name to the dishes while quality is not at all.
