LE VERT GOURMAND
You need to pick up this restaurant north of Limoges, at the foot of the A 20, within the hotel welcome. But it is worth a detour. It is very well received, the room is contemporary and the cooks can be turned off behind nickels ovens. The map is varied, it follows the seasons. Salads, salmon and sun duo tartare (gaspacho, scrambled eggs in Serrano, assortment of vegetables to plancha, gambas, etc.). Among the entrances, there is a boar bowl of wild chestnut trees. Then a choice of fish among which the requin requin of sweet peppers served with a pan of zucchini and mushroom mushrooms. Or limousines meat to plancha (up to 1 100 g beef rib for two) and specialities such as the famous milk pig, andouillette from Troyes to candied onions and mustard mustard or calf's kidney (cooked minute) to plancha, sauce Madeira. Other desserts include Tatin pie served warm with vanilla ice ball. It is generous, presented correctly and given the prices we can say we are not stolen, far from it. Please note, there is a second room, a terrace with a panoramic view (on the motorway). It can easily accommodate groups up to 75 people.
In short, drinkable for a quick had meal, but do not invite your beautiful mother!
