AMPHITRYON
Restaurant located in the Boucherie district offering delicious appetizers.
Olivier Polla took over from Richard Lecquet at the head of the very famous Amphitryon, located in the Butcher's district. Originally from Creuse, the man who was awarded (among others) the gold star of the Concorde Layafette, puts the small dishes in the big ones to conquer our taste buds. Delicious appetizers, sweetbreads in a peppermint crust, scallops with truffles. Desserts and mignardises are exquisite, traditional mini breads with figs and olive oil are served on request and the wine list is seductive. At lunchtime, the menu Retour des halles punctuates our day full of flavours. With soft music in the background, the service is smiling and attentive, but not stilted, and on the tables well covered, the beautiful Limoges porcelain, with plates with a different pattern for each table. It is appreciated that the Chef comes to greet his guests at the end of the service. Behind its half-timbered façade, the Amphitryon restaurant is always a warm and highly recommended address. Two rooms and two small lounges for more intimacy.
