Originally an invisible troglodyte construction, the castle protected against Norman incursions. Until the end of the Hundred Years' War, it was a base for the defense of the kingdom. One reaches its top by a staircase dug in the rock. It was then transformed into a holiday resort. Later, Rommel established a headquarters there. Seduced by the atmosphere that emanates from the place, Jacobs chose it as the setting for a Blake and Mortimer: The Devil's Trap, to be read before or after the visit!

Closed in winter. Open every day from 10 am to 5 pm. Free until 6 years old. Adult : 7,80 €. Child (from 13 to 18 years old) : 4,80 €. Vacation voucher. C'est surtout la vue qui est intéressante tout en haut de la colline. La ballade est apaisante, les jardins potagers à visiter. Une ballade en bord de Seine permet de terminer sereinement la journée.
