The most exceptional historical ensemble of the French Vexin, a park consisting of two major elements in Chaussy

The Villarceaux estate is one of a kind. It comprises a ^16th-century waterside manor house with its tower and vaulted passageway, an ^18th-century château and a 70-hectare park. The estate has existed since the ^11th century, but nothing remains of the lower château. The upper château was built by Jean-Baptiste Courtonne, in the style of the neighboring ^17th-century aristocratic and bourgeois houses. The park was awarded the "Jardin Remarquable" label in 2004 and the estate is certified as an "Espace Végétal Ecologique".

Opening time and information on VILLAGE ESTATE

The Domaine de Villarceaux is open to the public from the first weekend of April to the second last weekend of October. Open from Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Free admission for individual visits. Group visits (10 people minimum) every afternoon (except Mondays), from April to October on reservation at least 10 days in advance. Rates and reservations at the reception desk of the estate at 01 34 67 74 33. Or with Val-d'Oise Tourisme, at 01 30 73 39 18. The Villarceaux estate is only partially accessible to people with mobility difficulties. Dogs are not allowed.
