It is an institution! Their official origin dates back to 1885 and it is the largest Flea Market in the world, at least the largest antique market. Bargain hunters from all over the world know them, tourists of all nationalities meet there and Parisians are always present. There is literally everything. Quite normal with its seven hectares and 2000 stands! In total, the Saint-Ouen Flea Market includes 17 markets, each with specific themes: Antica, Cambon, Dauphine, Rosiers, Jules Vallès... The fashion world is well represented with professional bargain hunters, wide enlightened clientele and young novices from all over coming to get the best deals. But it takes a little practice to see the great products and know how to negotiate, that is making very intelligent business offers. Novices rather count on luck and act according to their instincts. But all this is a real pleasure being alert with a showcase several kilometers long! Be careful, you will quickly become addicted! A word of advice: lace up sneakers or comfortable shoes in order to bargain your YSL vintage pumps.
