Designed by Ricardo Bofill, this residential complex forms a monumental space: a hemicycle theater, a U-shaped palace and a triumphal arch. This habitat mixes a classical composition with the functional and economic imperatives of the 20th century. The attention paid to the manufacture of concrete and its coloring has achieved an exemplary level of quality. Today, the ensemble remains either disparaged or considered an incredible testimony to the architecture of the 1970s and 1980s. A symbol of an era, it has been used as the setting for some films and music videos.
