Château being the most important neoclassical building in Bordeaux, its wine has become a wine of excellence over the centuries

In the heart of the Médoc, Château Margaux is a veritable institution. Since 1855, it has been at the top of the Bordeaux wine classification, with the prestigious status of Premier Grand Cru Classé. Today, the estate belongs to the Mentzelopoulos family, who continue the tradition of excellence. Built in 1815 and classified as a historic monument since 1946, the emblematic neo-Palladian château has adapted to the most recent innovations. Its cellars can be visited by appointment. One of them was designed by British architect Norman Foster.

Beautiful iconic château producing one of the world's iconic wines. You need to book as soon as you think you might be coming to southwest France.
