LE PARIS BODEGA

Bar and caf

The south for this club strangely installed in a former Polish bank. Here music and garden, signed by Miguel Cancio Martins (Buddha bar, Manray…) turn definitively into Nîmes, Bayonne or Andalucia. The hotel was very close to the city centre and it was very close to the train station. So, if you choose to go there, chase it, but between friends. For girls, enter slightly, the cloakroom is not specially given (3 € per item, 5 € the bag).

HANOI CORNER

Coffee shop and tea room

Coming here for coffee or tea is an experience that strongly calls for renewal. No, we're not exaggerating for a moment. Here, Vietnam and its aromas are on the move, and the coffees from this land, sometimes unjustly misunderstood, are worth the detour. For the coffees, a sort of brass filter brings out the sharpest flavors and aromas, while the infusions are to fall. To make things even better, we've prepared a few side dishes here to help you enjoy the beverages with just as much finesse. The place is like a small cocoon, all softly, with its pastel blue front that announces the color nicely. Frankly, very good point!

THÉÂTRE DE PARIS

Theater

There was a skating rink where since 1891 this hall has been named New theatre. The actor and director Lugné-Poë, the future founder of the theatre of the Works, is the founder. He defends Scandinavian authors like Ibsen and Strindberg, as well as Jarry, including Ubu King and here created with San Gémier in the title role in 1896. The actress Réjane bought the room in 1906 and gave her his name. She creates here Mrs. Sans-Gêne, from Victorian Sardou. It is when Léon Volterra resumes the place in 1918 that the current name is assigned to him. Marius and Fanny, by Marcel Pagnol, with Raimu, Orane Demazis and Pierre Fresnay, were triumphs in 1929 and 1931, respectively. Another success: Tovaritch, from Jacques Deval with Elvire Popesco. In 1955, this famous actress will take over from Marcel Karssenty and Pierre Dux who have been running the hall since 1948. Some memorable pieces: Tea and sympathy, with Ingrid Bergman, Pity it is a p…, with Romy Schneider and Alain Delon… During this period, a costume shop is transformed into a modern theatre, which finally takes the name of Petit théâtre in Paris. Alain Leseleuc in 1965 and Robert Hossein in 1975 are new directors. From 1990, the stars are almost on the scene of this place: Jean-Paul Belmondo, Michel Sardou, Valérie Lemercier, Guy Bedos, Alain Delon, Robert Hossein, Gérard Depardieu, Bernard Tapie, Michel Leeb, Jean Piat…

THÉÂTRE LA BRUYÈRE

Theater

The theatre of three hundred and sixty squares was created in 1943 by two actors, Georges Herbert and Paquita Claude. It's launched when in 1948, Robert Dhéry set up Les Branquignols, a crazy show mixing the insane humour of the Marx Brothers with a typically French drolatique spirit. Coming from the théâtre de la Death, Georges Vitaly took the direction of the room in 1954. Until 1982 he defended his contemporary authors, Jacques Audiberti in the lead. Stephan Meldegg then continues to serve the creators of his time in this theatre. Two notable pieces among others: What Fox, James Saunders, sees as being staged by Laurent Terzieff and Kitchen and Dependencies, Agnès Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri. Have played here in recent years: Rufus, Francis Perrin, Niels Arestrup, Philippe Clay, Philippe Laudenbach, Jean-Jacques Vanier… In 2007, Marguerite Gourgue succeeded Stephan Meldegg.

THÉÂTRE DU NORD-OUEST

Theater

The company of Elan, led by Jean-Luc Jeener, created this theatre in 1997, where it defends young authors and presents thematic cycles: Shakespeare, Molière, Don Juan… Before, the room had already had a rich destiny. The five in question are elders of the second armoured division of which Lucien Roup, the coach of boxer Marcel Cerdan, one of the lovers of Edith Piaf. She sang regularly in this place, as well as Yves Montand, a protected future of the great lady. Among the regulars are Gabin, Meat or Prévert. In 1954, the place was transformed into cinema. The return to music took place in 1991. The room then qualifies as Northwest Passage. It walks many artists, all styles, including many innovators. This time left very beautiful memories, although it was brief. The company of Elan has set up two rooms to which the names of the troupe of the company have been assigned prematurely. The big is called Laborey, the little Economides.

After years of neglect, the site was finally restored to its former splendor a few years ago. In 2007, the owners, including the Vardar brothers, undertook major renovations, bearing in mind that Le Palace is a listed building. Since then, one show follows another, and the venue is always packed. The program is mainly comedy-oriented, but there are also some unique shows, such as the immersive one based on the work of Michel Polnareff.

WALL STREET PIGALLE

Bar and caf

A unique concept in Paris. And with good reason: while you're having a drink with friends, you're a trader. Explanation: depending on the orders placed, drink prices change every 100 seconds. Players can bet on the evolution of prices, but be warned: this is a playful mode, and you're obviously not here to make huge savings. As for the rest, the urban setting and the sheer number of people who come here give the place a festive, sometimes rather overexcited atmosphere, making it a Pigalle mecca.

LIEBE

Club

A bar by day, a top-notch club by night: that's the idea behind Liebe ("Love" in German), the brainchild of three friends with a passion for Berlin parties, who set out to reproduce the atmosphere of the other side of the Rhine. And they succeeded: people come here for lunch or drinks in the afternoon. In the evening, the venue's two levels come alive with cutting-edge, yet not elitist, sets. Everyone is welcome here - provided they're well behaved - and the festive atmosphere has made it a much sought-after spot just a few months after opening.

LIPSTICK

Frochot Street is on the way to becoming one of the most in of the capital, for the many bars that are located there. Former hostess bar, there is a unique atmosphere. It is easy to imagine the old destination of the premises: spacious armchairs, red lights, a subdued atmosphere, the whole contrasting with the clientele, joyful and good-natured. A few tables, a boudoir, and above all a bar: this is the winning cocktail. And precisely, these are delicious, here, we finally know how to combine excellence in this field and quantity, since you will have for each more than a few drops. Large attendance at weekends, but highly available staff - and patient.
