JEAN HWANG CARRANT - SIMPLY EXTRAORDINARY COOKIES
We feel jealous of the residents of rue d'Aboukir… Why? Because they are happy to wake up every morning with the good smell of Jean Hwang Carrant's cookies. Settled in France for 25 years, this young woman with the American and Taiwanese dual culture bought her first shop in the Sentier district. After having tested several of her recipes on her family members (lucky as they are), she has built an attractive reputation by offering her culinary creations at Salon Maison et Objets and Brunch Bazar. We're happy to find her in her own shop. Immaculate room, cookies under glass bells, tables, chairs and Danish inspired cushions, the place is totally trendy and covers this biscuit with a special aura. Here, the cookie is quite impressive, it is very fashionable! Composed of fresh ginger, peanut butter, yuzu or, more simply, Nutella and white chocolate, everything is done so that you can find your happiness. The pastry chef's approach goes further: to prevent gluten intolerants from being deprived of its creations, she produces gluten-free cookies based on chestnut flour!

The best cookie shop in Paris, hands down!
These extraordinary cookies are the delicious result of a meeting between France, Asia, and the United States, a perfect fusion of cultures and flavors that makes Cookie Lover truly unique.
Baked fresh daily using secret homemade recipes, the black sesame, mochi, and matcha cookies are soft, flavorful, and unforgettable. There’s a distinct Asian twist to each bite that elevates them far beyond your average cookie.
Great for both kids and adults, this is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Even Pierre Hermé, world-renowned pastry chef and Best Pastry Chef in the World 2016, praised them, saying:
“Thank you for your cookies, they were perfect, certainly the best I’ve ever had.”
Enough said, go try them!
