What is more reassuring when one enters a karate club than has a former world champion of discipline? This is the case in Ki Ken Taï Karate where Jacques De, the boss of the scene, took in 1986 in Sydney the individual gold medal, a semi-heavy category. Thus, the dojo's reputation is no longer to be done. Since 2009, members have been up to follow the teachings of the master, and few are disappointed. It's one of the most beautiful dojos in the capital, with a truly pleasant Nippon air. The master considers his art intrinsically linked to Japanese philosophy. Practitioners at any level can come from the yellow belt to the black belt. One of the best addresses of this kind.

Founded in 1947, JUMP (Jeunesses Unies Ménilmontant Parmentier) is one of the oldest clubs in the capital. With more than 270 members, it is also one of the most important. The training sessions, by level group, take place in the gymnasium located rue de la Fontaine-au-Roi and are supervised by state-certified teachers to allow all those who do not follow the competition curriculum to improve. The competition holds a very special place here, as many teams play regularly. This does not mean that the leisure dimension is neglected. Indeed, everything is put in place so that everyone finds his or her place. The club brings together a lot of young people and wants to be a real springboard for developing future champions. Without a doubt, one of the best addresses in Paris.

KI KEN TAÏ FITNESS

In the heart of the 19 th district, in a building that housed the 150 th stables in the 2nd century, the Ki Ken Taï fitness club spans m and two levels, in an atmosphere with the colours of Japan and a small interior garden. Here you will find a training and cardio-training area of 70 m 2, a dance studio and a collective course and a beautiful terrace of 30 m 2 which also hosts some courses. In the program, yoga, body body, stretching, gentle gymnastics, ground bar, step and a fitness circuit. The advantage here is that groups do not exceed 10-12 people, allowing the club's five teachers to correct all defects in real time. Upon arrival in the club, a balance sheet is made. Here the accompaniment is a master word and your coach will follow you throughout your progression. Ideal for not wasting time. A rare initiative, a trial week is available to help you avoid unpleasant surprises and to be sure of your choice. Note that the boss of the places, Jacques De is a former world karate champion. And when he talks about training and fitness, he knows what he's talking about…
