This Meilleur Ouvrier de France pork butcher proposes in this beautiful shop on the rue Caulaincourt delicious pâtés en croûte: pâté Pantin, pâté de Houdan... each one more tasty than the other. Also in the spotlight, pig rillettes with Espelette chilli pepper, a garlic sausage of anthology and a superb press of foie gras. Nice delicatessen section too. The big advantage: all the delicatessen products are nitrite-free, with no additives or preservatives. The team's welcome is adorable. A high-flying address where it's good to go.

Who remembers going to the grocery store to get wine by the tug-of-war with his bottles in a bottle holder? Here, it's simple: the customer arrives with his cubi or bottles, he fills them from the wine tank of his choice, most of them being organic. If he doesn't have any bottles, the house provides him with nice ones, designed on the model of the old lemonade bottles. They are returnable - the slogan of the place is "the return of the deposit" - as well as the cubes. Oenology courses and various events are organized here.

BOULANGERIE COQUELICOT

Bakery

The poppy is the emblem of this lovely boutique because it is a flower that grows in the untreated wheat fields… The bakers who work in baker have chosen authenticity and quality. The Picolla wand is a hand-shaped, twisted and farinée wand. The Queen is non-farinée whose alvéolée is appreciated by all. Flour makes the stick more crispy in mouth. On the map of natural leaven, des breads apple-cannelle, apple-cranberries or orange zest and for the little creux in the afternoon a chocolate or goat baguettine. Sylvie'the boss'offers a large selection of cookies from yesteryear: madeleines nature or chocolate, financial financiers or chocolate or seasonal fruit, cookies, cinnamon cakes, Breton cakes, cakes, marbled, four-quarters. For the small and also the big, Poppy proposes a range of tart candies to the old: purple, lemon, orange, without forgetting soundtrack, malabar, carambar of yesteryear. As for pies, they vary according to the seasons and they are delicious. Toast, salty pies, quiches, soups, salads, hamburgers, omelettes, pizzas and pancakes can also be found. The brunch is made of organic eggs, the bread of the hamburger is house and the ground meat comes from the butchery Gaudin on the rue des Abbesses, yaourts are provided by the Beillevaire cheese factory, the fresh fruit salad and the compote are made home.

DELI DROP

Delicatessen

Stéphane and Samia, the Small Drops owners, the bar-restaurant-restaurant, located at 12 l'Esplanade, and Kristin, a 45-year-old Californian friend, have imagined this very American concept where you can find everything at any time. And if your children are with you you will have to have a good dose of authority to refuse to buy packets of candy because they are too tempting with all their colors. On the old wooden shelves all the classics of American food are present, Jack Daniel's BBQ sauces from peanut butter through cereals, canned pasta but also Japanese gadgets, magazines, comics and even skateboards. You can take a coffee, drink a drink or eat a hot dog with a Thai version.

AU PAIN D’ANTAN

Bakery

Here we love the Aveyron and we shout it loud and clear. Au Pain d'Antan works the old-fashioned way and bakes everything in an oven more than a hundred years old. Among its specialities, spelt bread and fouace - not always easy to find in Paris - delight connoisseurs. Some special breads, such as country rye, come in large balls of 4 pounds - as in the old days - or in mini balls. We also frequent the Pain d'Antan for its very good pastries, its Aveyronnais brioches, its prune rissole and its spit cake.

Between Rue du Mont-Cenis and Rue Ordener, this extensive market is popular and lively. Prices are attractive, and traders tend to sell off at the end of the market. Some regulars claim that the odd side is cheaper and more varied... To be seen. As well as fruit and vegetables, of course, this market offers oriental products, including a fine herb stand. CAVE 18

Caviste

Eric de Greef is a former web designer who got fed up with the web. He wanted to make a living from his passion, and so Cave 18 was born. Unlike other often cluttered cellars, his is modern, bright and airy, with all the bottles neatly arranged. He favors small, inexpensive appellations, and you can sense his preference for southern wines such as those from Languedoc and the Rhône Valley. Other regions are less well represented, although there are a few nice little labels. Over 400 references, including foreign wines, vins doux naturels, as well as champagnes, whiskies, rums, armagnacs, cognacs and more. Eric de Greef's cellar is a living space. He offers a wine bar open weekdays from 5pm and all weekend long, with a snack bar (tapas, terrines, charcuterie or cheese platters, salads...). He also invites artists to his micro-gallery for themed evenings.
