L'Étoile du Nord offers theatre and dance performances, as well as a programme of music, dance and theatre for young audiences. It is resolutely oriented towards contemporary creation, but also towards young audiences. Formerly the Théâtre Paris-Nord, the venue opened for a time in the 1970s and was taken over a decade later under the name Dix-Huit Théâtre. Finally, in 1997, the venue was renamed L'Étoile du Nord. It seats two hundred. Contemporary dance and theatre workshops are held here.

Ce petit théâtre est astucieusement agencé. La salle est très confortable et le spectacle Western que nous avons vu était très agréable. La troupe même si amateur était talentueuse, le régisseur efficace, et l’atmosphère conviviale. C’était, en définitive, une belle soirée.”
