As the Theatre of the City, of which it is the second room since 1996, the Theatre des Abbesses offers a high quality programme. Although eclectic, he is very rich in plays. This elegant Italian theatre, which is resolutely contemporary, has 400 seats on the bottom of a courtyard at the foot of Montmartre. His rehabilitation was entrusted to the architect Charles Vandenhove. The decorations of the avant-stage curtain and side galleries were carried out by the painter Olivier Debré. Part of the interior and courtyard is artist Daniel Buren, the rayures man.

A long-standing address for artists'magazines, the Ten Hour Theatre today presents some man shows and loud comedies. He was the sponsor of the place when Michel Joyeau and Michel Miletti took their head in 1990 - in partnership with Just for Laughs since 2007. Laughter and song are in the spotlight. First, there was a conservatory founded in 1850 by Renée Maubel, which included studios of rehearsals and a hall where Raimu, Frehel and Pierre Fresnay were included. Unfortunately, it was seriously deteriorated in the 1970 s. In 1984, Michel Galabru bought her, retyping her and confided it to his daughter Emma, who named the theater place Maubel-Galabru, then Montmartre-Galabru. Here you will find a hundred spectators of comedy, musical shows, one man shows and children's shows.

L'Étoile du Nord offers theatre and dance performances, as well as a programme of music, dance and theatre for young audiences. It is resolutely oriented towards contemporary creation, but also towards young audiences. Formerly the Théâtre Paris-Nord, the venue opened for a time in the 1970s and was taken over a decade later under the name Dix-Huit Théâtre. Finally, in 1997, the venue was renamed L'Étoile du Nord. It seats two hundred. Contemporary dance and theatre workshops are held here.

The top in which we can attend shows since 2005 is a former ballroom, which once turned from village to village in eastern France. It is made of wood skated over time and is covered with windows. The programming of the Grand parquet makes the most of the forms of theatre, music, tales and dances from all over the world. The young public is particularly well served. The Manufacture des Abbesses was created in 2006. It is a-square room where contemporary theatre writers are defended, both comical and dramatic. A former warehouse for the costumes and equipment of the Workshop Theatre, this sixty-basement hall has been host to innovative shows since 1984 and readings. Led by Alain-Alexis Barsacq, it lies at the end of the small impasse at the end of Charles-Dullin Square. Workshops and internships are proposed. This place is extraordinary, because it seems to belong to another era. Paul Golub says of him: " It is a place of resistance, creativity, transmission, sharing, and like Atalante in Greek mythology always ahead of its contenders! " Well said!

The Tremplin Theatre, inaugurated on 20 October 1990 at the initiative of the duo Pinok and Matho, is a friendly, independent place open to creators who wish to offer an original work before a public. Authors, directors, actors: the young talents are here to discover this tremplin scene. Theatre, mime, poetry, dance, music and French song… Artists work in all areas of the show.
