Hubert Masse has travelled a lot before opening his first shop in Enghien-les-Bains with his Irish wife, Susan. This chocolate factory, awarded with the last Salon du Chocolat in Paris, owes much to the travels which has shaped his curiosity, taste and his imagination. They juggle beautifully with guanaja and chuao alloys to create fine, balanced chocolates to the impeccable presentation and texture. Its chocolates combine exotic flavours like black ganache to the lemon of Madagascar, zest of green lemon and Spanish lemon honey or ganache milk to infusion of lemon zest.

Ayant fait mon choix, je faisais la queue à la caisse mais la caissière m'a délibérément ignorée pour service une autre personne qui n'avait pas encore fait son choix.
J'ai clairement senti une différence dans l'accueil entre moi et les autres clientes.
Gentille, souriante, donnant des conseils avec les clientes que manifestement elle connaissait.
Nous habitons le quartier mais le client habituel étant mon mari, elle ne me connaissait pas. Pour ma part, pas un sourire, le ballotin jeté dans un sac et voilà.
Je n'envisage pas d'y retourner.
