With its fir green facade and the golden lettering of the house's professions - chocolate maker, ice cream maker, confectioner, pastry chef - it is impossible to miss À La Mère de Famille on the commercial square of Général-Beuret. Lovers of sweet treats will of course find the chocolate specialities of the brand - praline rochers, Montmartre palets... - as well as confectionery and, with the takeover of Stohrer, pastries, including the inevitable rum baba.

This is the second A la Mere de Famille store I visited, the first one during my September work trip and now this one with my family during spring break vacations. As with the other store, this one is full with chocolate, candy and pastries too. I went with my 7yo daughter while we were exploring the neighborhood around our AirBnB.
The lady attending welcomed us as soon as I went through the door. My daughter was so excited wondering around the store picking sweet goods for her and mommy. We bought chocolate, marzipans, candy lollypops and caramel.
After checking out, my daughter and I were offered with a chocolate, she was happily surprised by this and enjoyed it so much.
In conclusion, the quality of all products in A la Mere de Famille is excelent, at very good prices.

I had an absolutely wonderful shopping experience here! The chocolate is always incredibly delicious—rich, smooth, and full of flavor ^^
The staff is fantastic, especially the lovely young lady who helped me today. She was super sweet, always smiling, and ready to assist with anything I needed. Her friendly attitude made my visit even more enjoyable :))
