An interpretive trail offering magnificent views and the mobility of landscapes such as dunes, tides, birds...
Over 5 km between forests and dunes, an educational path, marked out and baptized "L'abécédaire des Dunes", starts at the end of the allée des Dunes with the letter A for "Algae" and ends at the extreme tip of Cap Ferret with its letter Z for "Z for Zostere", a seaweed. This interpretive trail offers a magnificent view of the Arguin bench and in the distance the Dune du Pilat. The theme chosen revolves around the mobility of landscapes: mobility of dunes, tides, birds, clouds, seafarers' lives... Walkers go from surprise to surprise from a large photo album that unfolds according to the alphabet: G for "Gourbet", a dune plant, E for "Wreck", H for "Hook", X for "Xylophage", an insect that feeds on wood.
