Here's a little corner of paradise with its feet almost in the water! On the shores of the Arcachon Basin, L'Escale offers one of the most beautiful views around. You can start with an aperitif and a few tapas at Marcel's Bodega (June1 to September 30), before moving on to the restaurant's warm, authentic decor. Under the pergola or on the terrace, you can let yourself be rocked by the rhythm of the tides, and enjoy the finest cuisine. The menu pays tribute to seafood, without forgetting meat. There's also a vegetarian dish.

Opening time and information on L’ESCALE
Open all year round. Daily from 8am to 10.30pm. Continuous service. No reservation required. Menu: 38 €. A la carte menu: approx. €50. Children's menu: €13 (-10 years). Lunch menu: €23 (until 3pm). Seafood platter at €57 for 1 person. Groups welcome (from 20/25 people). Terrace.
Owner's Message
Located in front of the Bélisaire landing stage for some fifty years, l'Escale is one of the oldest restaurants on the Cap Ferret peninsula, and also one of the busiest, thanks to its location (2 meters from the water on a pleasant terrace on the edge of the Arcachon basin, with a breathtaking view of the Pyla dune and close proximity to the little train).
L'escale, a café, restaurant and brasserie, welcomes you all year round, 7 days a week, with continuous service and no need to book, serving specialities from the Arcachon basin:
Meats, grilled meats, fish grilled a la plancha, oysters and seafood, salads and tapas.
La Bodega de Marcel tapas bar is open daily from June 1 to September 30.
